POV project

This is not an original idea, in fact it seems to be all the rage. POV stands for persistance of vision, which means you display just the bare minimum of light to trick your brain. A TV is fast enough to trick your eyes, but your brain has a long buffer, so to speak. With the inspiration from:

I whipped out my oversized PIC16F877 and slapped on some LEDs, Richard got to programming and in 2 hours we have a messaging POV, without any snags. Next step, throw the proto in a wheel to watch the pretty colors spin. oooo, aaaaah.
